Civilian Conservation Corps Art on Exhibit

It is no exaggeration that exhibits highlighting pieces from the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Art Program are exceedingly rare.

January 25-April 12, 2020 a special exhibition focusing on the life of CCC artist, Reima V. Ratti will be featured at the Bess Bower Dunn Museum in Libertyville, Illinois.

Art , letters, photographs and other treasures created during the Great Depression and during his enrollment in the three “C’s” will be one of the focal points of this remarkable exhibit. In addition to a small statuette that inspired a brass monumentCalendar events will included tours, family activities and an Author Talk.
